Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy sessions for Older Adults. Cognitive-Behaviorial Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based treatment for older adults who suffer from an array of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, chronic pain substance use, and personality disorders. CBT is a short-term, problem focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings.CBT helps people identify, change and overcome these unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, thereby freeing them from disturbing emotions and destructive patterns of behavior.
Group Therapy
Group therapy with older adults is as effective as individual therapy for an array of symptoms and conditions. Group therapy was found effective in treating depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, obessesive-compulsive disorders, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, and chronic pain.
Testing & Evaluations
As psychologist, I have undergone advanced training in administering psychological evaluations and conducting immigration evaluations. Psychological assessments play a crucial role in understand an individual's cognitive abilities, personality traits, and emotional well-being. Through the use of standardized tests and measures, I can gather valuable information to better understand your strengths, challenges, and areas of growth.
