About Dr. Sikkeland

I earned a Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) in clinical forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  I am currently licensed in the state of California PSY33757.  I have been working with individuals and groups for several years. I have a myriad of experience with working with people on every level on the continuum of mental health by working in a variety of settings ranging from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, correctional facilities, and private practices.

My clinical experience has taught me the importance in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. My treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I maintain a collaborative approach which promotes self-efficacy to promote personal growth. I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be your authentic self.
